    Antec TruePower (v1) 380watt PSU

Another Antec (CWT) more crappy caps. Within the past few days my friends system would reboot sporadically without warning, so he asked me to take a look at his sytem I built for him. Mobo looked fine, etc. etc. so I opened up the PSU to find crap caps. This was all at 11pm at night when I was already half-asleep... but he needed to work on a important project so I proceeded to fix his PSU.

I found CapXon's on the 3.3v/5v outputs that didn't seem to be bulging so I left them alone. I saw 2 2200uF 16v Fuhjyyu's that were starting to bulge but hadn't leaked yet. However i did find 2 Fuhjyyu 1000uF 10v caps that were severly leaking which was most likely the culprit of the sporadic rebooting. I didn't have the proper caps to replace the Fuhjyyu's and CapXon's but I figured they should last until I get my friend a better PSU in a week or so.

Since I was short on caps I replaced the 2 Fuhjyyu 1000uF 10v caps with a 1000uF Teapo SEK (I know crappy but it should last for a week) and a 1000uF 16v UCC KY. The only good caps I could find were some Panasonic caps on the primary input.

So far so good he hasn't bugged me for a day. The Antec might get a full proper recap whever I order caps again.

That caps sounds like it was the 5 Vsb section. This is saidly not only typicall for Antec, i had severall PSU`S with exact those caps bad and this very early after i put those PSU on duty.
