Digital controllers hitting PC power supplies

In the latest computer magazine, I have read that a Corsair power supply now has digital controllers for the PWM and PFC stages.
As far as you may know, analog controllers for switching power supplies are fast reaching their limits.

My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.
