    Looking for CWT platform!

    Hello guys,

I have another task here Somebody brainlessly mounted these insides into a casing from crappy 400W Eurocase PSU but did not provide a sticker. I will recap it but have absolutelly no idea about what this platform is, what wattage and efficiency I can expect from it.

It is obviously older CWT, my guess is ATX 2.0 because it has ATX 12 V connector but also -5 V rail. It comes from PSU with either one or two 80mm class fans (otherwise nobody would swap it for 12 cm obviously). My bet is some OEM, CWT never sold their branded PSU's here.

    Familiar to anybody?

Nothing. E206420 and NE5000A identifies board manufacturer. Maybe just the sign ATX12V-2H(I), but that gave me no results.

ADD// got it! Looks like Colorshit: http://article.techlabs.by/full/36_521.html

There are 560uF Fulltec caps, 2SC2625 (10 A, 400 V) transistors with decent size, even almost full input filtering. ERL-35 main transformer, shottky (SB3040PT) on +3,3/+5 V and superfast (SF2004PT).

So what I will do is mark this thing as 18 A/+12 V, 28 A/+5 V and 320 W combined. It's not mine and the terrible man wont pay me for upgrading it anyway.

Oh man oh man oh man! The original sticker on this looks too much like the one above! So it is actually in its original casing, which just met hammer too closely?! You want to know how it is labeled? 400 W, 25 A/+12 V, 35 A/+5 V, 28 A/+3,3 V

It looks like yet another rehash of the same crappy design, only this time with all the filtering components in place. From that transformer you can expect 250, maybe 300-ish W, efficiency will depend on output rectifiers, 75-80% would be my guess.

Edit: Was out for a bit and didn't refresh the page, i see you got it now.

Well its better, as I sad, bigger input caps, 10A transistors, it even has most likely all-in-one PWM with transistor inside since there is no separate transistor for +5V SB. (guess what, found nothing about any chip labeled by the name M605 0611)

Heatsinks are massive aluminium, transistors and rectifiers all in TO-247 package so better heat transfer. Caps are not venting even though they are VENT labeled And there are some coisl on secondary
