Ryobi One +Charging Center for Lithium Ion Battery chagrer

If any one has one of these chargers you may want open it up and see if it has CapXon brand caps in it one has already has pop it top

Here is how you can tell if you have a problem if the red LED light is flashes{ it should stay ON} with out a battery in it to charge and if you put a battery to charge the green LED light flashes like it should how ever if you remove the battery the green LED light stay it should change to red

In the next day or so I will take a photo of the charging board

It looks like I'll be cracking open my Craftsman C3 Li-Ion charger this weekend. The Ryobi (Home Depot) and Craftsman tools are the same, despite the voltage difference (18v Ryobi vs 19.2v Craftsman).

The LED indicators operate the same way on both brands, so I'm betting the chargers are the same.
Stupidity should be a crime, especially for drivers. I have NO patience for them.

I re-capped a generic Chinese charger not too long ago... The problem was that it wasn't fully charging NiMH batteries and the red LED was never turning green indicating a completed charge cycle. After re-cap, everything worked great.

          I also have a Craftsman C3 Li-Ion

They are very close to the same thing how ever some of the cap values are different the same caps had pop it top

I had a battery that it said it was bad how ever when I recap 1/2 of it the caps that I have on hand it charged that pack now I do not know how good this pack is at this point

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
            by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

HP ProBook 445 G8 Battery not charging
            by Julian Bailey
            Hi all

We have in a HP ProBook 445 G8 laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 CPU. When power is connected the power LED light blinks 5 times then stops. Normally HP laptops will blink this LED 10 times as it does a self test when the AC adaptor is inserted. So there must be some sort of short somewhere.

The battery doesn't charge, and is erratic on the MM voltage. Bench PSU LED pulsates when the battery is connected also. So the fault must be on the charging circuit?

I have gone around the board with a MM and cant find anything

            Windows shows the battery fine,...

ThinkBook 15 G3 ACL Not Charging Battery - LA-K602P Board
            by kodox
since i couldn't find schematic or boardview for this model (LA-K062P), i use closest board model found here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-and-boardview

the schematic share same marking for each component, using same PD-Controller, same BQ25710, the only different is the battery cell used. LA-K061P uses 3S battery while LA-K062P use 4S battery per schematic.
            what i've done:

Modification of a Fluke multi meter that uses three AA batteries to use a 14500 lithium ion battery
            by sam_sam_sam
I have had with regular AA batteries that leak this meter is expensive new I already replaced the battery battery clips once and the same thing happened again and I am tried of so it is getting modified to accommodate lithium ion batteries that are the same size excluding the positive terminal and removing the battery clips I will have enough room for the BMS protection board

I going to put 3 lithium ion battery in parallel with the BMS protection board and a way to charge the battery externally and heat shrink the battery pack and use a JST connector so I easily remove the battery...

Razor Blade Steath 13" RZ09-01963 plugged in Not Charging (new battery)
            by Shinju
            Hey All!

Long time forum member here with a problematic laptop issue!

I got a RZ09-0196 with a bloated battery (still worked and charged fine) I pulled the old cell pack out and installed a new cell pack in its place.

The laptop would not power on with the new battery installed without the power supply being plugged in.

When booting into Win10 (all up to date BTW) I saw the battery icon with 49% plugged in not charging.

TL;Dr version, old battery worked, charged but was bloated, installed a new non OEM replacement, laptop/windows...
