    Schematic for Antec Truepower 330 and other PC PSU's

    I need a schematic for an Antec Truepower 330. I was recapping it and got mixed up, as a 47uF tested 200uF and one burnt. If anyone has some scribblings it would be appreciated.

    While searching, I found many PC power supply schematics at this site, although it is Russian, there is good stuff here:
    http://electro-tech.narod.ru/schematics/power/comp.htm
    Especially many 5VSB schematics, good bad and ugly.

    Welcome to the forums redwire.

    Best wishes on schematics. Not likely unless someone happened to draw one of that model. All are proprietary and not released. Remember, these units are considered "not serviceable" and schematics would be "in-house" only.

    Best bet here is to photo your unit's board(s) top down and some side angle shots and post here. The unit is probably similar to the 300w or 350w TruePower units and parts were -usually- the same or similar.

    Indicate what you need in the pictures and see what the people here can tell you.

      Thanks Toasty, here's some pics of the PSU, with somes caps taken out.
      The one cap I'm not sure about is C38, part of RC network on TL431 cathode-reference that appears to monitor 3.3V rail. It might be 10uF 50V? with 3k6 in series. The fan control transistor baked it.
      If anyone can take a look in their junkbin, that will help

        Re: Schematic for Antec Truepower 330 and other PC PSU's

        1uF 50v

        That's on a TPII-480 Blue with C38 in the same position. In these they moved the fan control to a small daughterboard.

        Let's see how close they match:

        From the bottom on pic # 3:

        - Just below the 5v wire bundle should be a 1uF @ 50v, 5x12
        - Just above the 5v bundle should be (4) 4700uF @ 10v, 10x35
        {the lower 2 and the black wrapped coil are the 5v pi filter}
        {the upper 2 and the "bare" coil are the 3.3v pi filter}
        - Above and left a bit is C38, 1uF @ 50v
        - Above the fan control transistor are (2) 3300uF @ 16v, 10x35
        {they are with the coil above them forming the 12v pi filter}

        Make sure you replace all the Fuhjyyu caps on that board. There should be a 10uF @ 50v cap down near the mains caps that is -critical- to the 5vsb circuit. It's right on the board edge. If it fails, the 5vsb will fail and take the mobo with it.

        Seems silly to chase such small caps, but this manufacturer is Krapola.

        HongKongFlyApart Co., LLC ®, is actually better.

          Re: Schematic for Antec Truepower 330 and other PC PSU's

          Okay, that's pretty close, the TP330 is a CWT-550AD with some smaller parts (i.e 3300uF vs 4700uF, and 1650uF vs 3300uF).
          Your notes help a lot, everything matches except cap C3 (on the board corner near the mains caps) I have as a 1uF/50V that traces back to the PWM IC soft-start.
          So I'm still wondering where the 10uF cap came from. Never watch TV or answer the phone when recapping...

          What do you have on the PCB corner by the 5VSB/-12V wire bundle?
          On the top edge, near heatsink 1000uF/10V C19 then C37, C7. Below C19 there is C31 and then C32 by the big inductor. I had 100uF and 220uF for these.

            >>Never watch TV or answer the phone when recapping...<<

            LOL Actually, making a cap map is what you should do as you pull them.

            >>What do you have on the PCB corner by the 5VSB/-12V wire bundle? <<

            That's where mine differs. 5vsb, fan control, and the others come off the daughterboard that I mentioned before. I can't help there.

            I am surprised no one else has chimed in here...
            I'm certain more than one of these has been recapped by a member or two.

              The smallest TP I remember seeing was a 400 or 450 and as you said they as different.
              I've seen smaller SP's but not TP's.

                Antec TruePower 380p failed after intermittent supply, suspect MOV
                by rabbituk
                Hello,

                I have an Antec TruePower 380p PSU that I had repurposed from a Sonata case. It had been working fine on a server in the loft using the Wake-on-LAN feature regularly until a couple of recent power outages where the power became very unstable - going on/off very quickly. There is now no output whatsoever from the PSU & fan isn't working. There was a pop when I attempted to turn it on.

                Upon examination, it appears that voltage isn't getting very far so I believe the immediate issue is within the first stage. There is a green component that I am not familiar...

                Fader replacement on 1980s mixer - help with this schematic
                by Transformer man
                Hi - I am looking to replace faders on a mixing desk from the early 1980s. They are tired and worn. I'm new at looking at schematics and would really appreciate your help and expertise on replacements.

                The current faders are 88mm long with 60mm fader movement and are 10K B (which I think is a linear fader). They have been swapped out at some point (tell tale signs of additional screw holes a few mms below the top screw hole).

                I think the schematic suggests 5K B faders (but as a newbie I'm not sure if I am even looking at the correct part of the schematic!?). I have...

                My friend gave me his dead laptop that smoked itself, just sitting there. I'm a EE and I've recently equipped myself with fume extraction, microscope, hot air station, etc. to handle more advanced soldering work, so I said I'd take it on "as training" to see how far I can go.

                Does anyone have the motherboard schematic for an HP Pavillion x360 14-dh2034nr schematic. It has two exploded capacitors next to PU4701. (C4710, C4711).

                If not a schematic, does anyone know what part PU4701 is? It seems to be a Alpha and Omega Semiconductor part, based on the logo...

                I really need help finding a schematic for the model in the subject!!

                I recently acquired this old (1980's pre-camcorder) portable VCR and camera combo unit. The portable VCR docks into a tabletop tuner unit to make it part of the whole TV system.

                The status of the system is: I hit power, and the VCR unit flaSHES ON for one second and then drops back to off. I found one youtube video for disassembly with good detail on how all the interconnections for the boards work. I also downloaded the sam's VCR-208 book that covers this model, but NO SCHEMATICS were in the booklet!!...

                Hi

                Does anyone have the boardview and schematic for a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro rev 1.0 please? I see there is a boardview for the WiFi version of this board on here but no schematic.

                Thanks
