Since we cannot locate a schematic, you will have to post pics of the board. You should start a fresh thread in the laptop forum regarding this laptop.The Diagnostic LED blinks red 4 times (once per second), then a 2-second pause follows, and then it beeps 4 times:
This indicates power failure.
Then, review where the power adapter enters the logic board. In this area will be 2*DCin mosfets and the charger IC. The charger IC will be a black square device. We need to know the topside markings of the IC.
Often, HP will use charger ICs with 'BQ' markings from Texas Instruments.

I'm also looking for schematic or board view of this board.. encountered a problem 5 long 3 shorts, i already flash bios via keyboard PC run for several days and return to 5 blinks and 3 shorts. I tried replacing the memory, check and soldered ram slot pins - no luck, I also clear ME and flash bios and using CH431a programmer still no luck.

Hi All,
I obtained a schematic diagram for the above mixer but I am wondering if a block diagram exists as I am trying to fix a problem in the protection circuit which I find a little confusing using a circuit diagram only. In the good old days the workshop manuals always had a block diagram with a circuit discription. Very useful for fault finding.
The protection light is perminently on. The right sode has a -80DC on the feed to the speaker, hence the protection led on. I have removed all the O/P transistors which checked out OK. I tested all other transistors in circuit which seem... -
I have a Yorkville Audiopro 208 Performance Mixer (full name on device - 8 channels, non-powered). Not only can I not locate schematics for this, I cannot find a user manual, a picture or any reference whatsoever to this mixer on the entire internet and I have looked really hard. Not a single mention anywhere. It's like it never existed, yet it does. I have been sourcing schematics for decades but have never run into to this before. In this day and age, how is this even possible?

i have been reading some forum messages here reguarding absolute persistance.
I have a laptop i bought a while back and just noticed it has been enabled & activated on this machine. I have contacted absolute persistance and they have confirmed it's not reported stolen (proof will be attached)
To get this removed the process can take upto several months and i have seen here you guys can modify the bios file?
im quite green when it comes to this kind of thing and hope you guys can help me.
