by mferna14Dear friends., working on this ASUS R565EA-UH51T. motherboard part # is X415EA R:6.0. The schematic which is uploaded on Badcaps is not the correct one. Can't figure out the traces. The battery does not charge at all. Firstly it was not turning on. With my experience, I correctly bypassed the 2 initial MOSFET & now the laptop turns on perfectly but does not charge the battery. Upon diagnostics I found that on both MOSFET (N-Channel) GATES volts are missing. Out here it should be nealry 24v to turn on the MOSFET GATEs & then the Laptop would turn on. This missing volts are generating from...

by mferna14Hi good Friends., today working on a Macbook Pro A2289, Logic board 820-01978-A. The history was liquid spill, Cleaned & replaced all corroded components & now the logic board shows 20v & .01amp on the meter. Not taking in any amps. Upon trouble shooting I get the required stable voltages 5V, PP3V3_G3H 3.3V but no PP3V3_S5. Checked the schematic, assume that this is generated from U7800. Checked all the Input/Output voltages on this chip. All is fine, except PP3V3_S5 is missing. Resistance from GND to PP3V3_S5 is 146 Kohms. First I need to make sure whether PP3V3_S5 is generated from...

but I googled, people says this Meaning EC have a issue to read BIOS, so I use CHA314A programmer to read and write (wrote the same content file read from BIOS), after I flashed the BIOS, the CAPS LED doesn't blink anymore

by TinkerTronHey everyone,
I'm currently working on a mid-70s Sharp Electronic Digital Clock Radio, Model FY-70CH. I found the service manual online, printed it out, and have been studying it for a while. My main reasons for tackling this are: (1) I want to learn electronics and figured I'd start with something I had on hand, and (2) I want to fix its issues. Right now, the radio sounds awful, has about 5V DC at the speaker terminals, and the alarm time setting doesn't work. But I'm not asking how to fix these problems.
Instead, here's what's been bugging me so far:
The schematic...3 Photos-

by atunguydIi wonder if anyone can help me. I have a Acer x163w monitor which is not powering up. The PSU main capacitor's one leg had completly come off - I replaced it but the PSU is still not outputting DC. I found the monitor in questions service manual here on manuals lib but the schematic in there is a completely different - the schematic shows no mosfet to drive the transformer while the one I have does use a mosfet - also the schematic shows only one optocoupler but mine has two.
The PSU board is labelled FM-20A02-AAA made by APD as per the image below. I am trying to find a schematic for this...-
