                                  I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.

                                  Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off.                                   I've been working on this awful project with a Panasonic FZ-55, basically I'm trying to intercept the eDP signal from the main board, and replace it with my own eDP signal connected from an lcd driver. The problem is, for some reason the 30 pin ribbon pinout is really unusual and not playing nice with my LCD controller. Long story short, I managed to fuck up my board and pull off some pads on the eDP out port, I'm hoping to find either another eDP out source somewhere else on the laptop, or figure out this goddamn pin layout so I can just replace the whole native display complex with my controller...
