Hello all,
I'm trying desperately to revive a ThinkStation P720 that I purchased from a seller who claims it suffered a "failed firmware update."
When given power, the machine turns on, spins up fans, beeps a single time, fans slow down, then a beep code is sounded repeatedly (3 high/short tones, 1 low/long tone).

Things I have tried:
1. Reseated all components, pulled everything except for 2 RAM modules (1 per CPU)

that was power cycling, white light on power led turning on and off, fan spinning on and off (the same problem dicky96 had, watch the youtube channel).
Some voltages were present.
I tried downloading and flashing clean bios cscn17ww.bin from post 72 from peste from thread " lenovo IdeaPad S145 bios needed

Dear all, I found this forum and this is my last hope. I had a problem with BIOS update though Windows Update - it was stuck for an hour and I decided to restart. Then it bricked. The reason to update was, I had no video on my panorama display. I tried to find a BIOS on my own, but it seems that Lenovo doesn't provide a complete file, only the BIOS section. Is there any chance someone could repair it? I did a backup from the chip, attached. I also tried using another BIOS, slightly different revision. It worked and even I had a display working, but then Windows tried to update once again and it...
