Help Lenovo Workstation P910 BIOS Request

Dear all, I found this forum and this is my last hope. I had a problem with BIOS update though Windows Update - it was stuck for an hour and I decided to restart. Then it bricked. The reason to update was, I had no video on my panorama display. I tried to find a BIOS on my own, but it seems that Lenovo doesn't provide a complete file, only the BIOS section. Is there any chance someone could repair it? I did a backup from the chip, attached. I also tried using another BIOS, slightly different revision. It worked and even I had a display working, but then Windows tried to update once again and it bricked. (from this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...54#post1601754 ). Should I provide anything more? Some steps to do? Many thanks!

It worked. Thank you very much! In conclusion, it was safe to take BIOS from the mentioned post and program it to 30B8. Then I used your link to repair the missing information.

Fixed: Lenovo P14s Gen 1 (type 20Y1, 20Y2) Laptop (ThinkPad) bricked by a withdrawn BIOS update (r1buj82w)
            by akwky
            Hi!
Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).

Incidentally, Windows 11 have recently started auto-flashing computer BIOS in our region. Even more suspiciously, Lenovo has released a BIOS update just few days before the PC was trashed. About a week later, the BIOS update image has been oficially marked...

Extracting a bios from lenovo bios update tool
            by yorfax
            Hello
I have downloaded a BIOS update tool from the Lenovo site 9dcn34ww.exe when I opened it in 7zip I saw a file called ZIWB2304.ROM which I assumed was the bios file and it loads into UEFItool. The issue is the file size, it is 10,101,992 bytes whereas the dump file I downloaded from the motherboard is 8,388,608 bytes why is there a discrepancy? Also, if I used a plain .bin file from Lenovo would that automatically update the pertinent information from the laptop on first boot? (or does the bios update tool do this?).
            Thanks in advance
            Matthew

Lenovo Legion Y540 – Need help repairing BIOS after bad downgrade
            by gestalt.exe
            Hi everyone,

My Lenovo Legion Y540 (i7-9750H, RTX 2060) bricked after I downgraded from BHCN44WW to BHCN21WW.
            Laptop stopped booting entirely.

I used a CH341A programmer to dump the corrupted 16MB BIOS.
            i then attempted the following:
            1. Downloaded stock BIOS BHCN39WW from Lenovo
            2. Trimmed it to 16MB
            3. Extracted the BIOS region from the corrupted dump
            4. Extracted the BIOS region from the stock 39WW
            5. Replaced the corrupted BIOS region with the stock one (within hxd , opened the corrupted dump and replaced its region by the stock)
            6. Injected back my LDGB / DMI
            ...

            Corrupted/Interrupted Bios Update Lenovo Legion S7 15ACH6
            by Thomas Dunlap
            Hello,

I have a Lenovo Legion S7 15ACH6 that was interrupted during a BIOS update and is now bricked. Symptoms: fans spin, RGB keyboard lights up, but no display/POST.

            The BIOS chip is a Gigadevice GD25LR128. I’m using a CH341A with a 1.8 V adapter. In AsProgrammer I selected GD25Q128 (since GD25LR128 isn’t listed) and successfully made a dump (BiosDump2_pf3eg12j.rar).

My understanding is that I’ll need a known good BIOS dump for this exact model, ideally matched to my laptop’s serial number (PF3EG12J), and that the Windows license key/serial should also...
