    Hp 640 g8 ProBook schematic

    Hi folks.
I have a 640 which doesn’t charge using the barrel connector, only via USB. Internal voltage rails only go up to 12V, they rise to 19.5 with the USB C.
Can Anyone who has the schematic lend a hand? I can read them fine so just a link would be great, but also any insight if you’ve seen this before.

Also, is there a list connecting the HP series model
numbers to the COMPAL model numbers?
    thanks
    dan

Not the laptop model number, the motherboard model number. Should be DA0X8QMB8E0 or something similar

Thank you very much. Sorry about the delayed response in doing so. Seeing as it’s a power supply issue, I’m pretty convinced that the schematics will be pretty identical at that stage in the circuit. I’ve had a little read through and it seems that my problem with the barrel connector only spitting out 12 V could be well down to some of the P type fets or a zener gone wrong. Either way, the circuit gives me a great hint as to how the USB and barrel connectors work together.
                  Really appreciate it, thanks mate
