Help Needed: HP ProBook 640 G8 (Board: DCX978) - Not Charging Battery
Hi everyone,
I am working on an HP ProBook 640 G8 with motherboard code DCX978 10091.
The issue is the laptop will not charge the battery.
Symptoms:- The laptop runs fine on the AC adapter.
- It detects the battery but shows "Plugged in, not charging" (or no charging indicator at all).
- I have tried a different battery and a known-good HP USB-C charger, but the issue persists.
Does anyone have the schematic or boardview for this specific DCX978 board? I need... -
