Hi, can i know what problem did you have? I have the same model and its not detecting the nvidia card

If you lose the Nivia power source, check the TON pin resistance of that ic, it's about 200k (can't know exactly because there's no diagram).

I don't have a picture, you can check there are 2 resistors on the back, 1 is 0 ohm, 2 is about 200k to replace, the 200k resistor one end is 19v and the other end goes into that ic

On the diagram I sent you, look for PU2001 and you will see that ic and you can check pin 8 of the ic

Hi, i think i found the 8 VIN RTON pin, i think that is the one i marked with green, i cant seem to find the two resistors you're refering to, i did take a photo of the back can you help me to identify which are? tysm

Coincidentally, I just encountered it again and I just needed to replace the 2nd resistor = 200k and it was successful

Yess, it was open or very high when i was able to read it was 6.7MOhms, then it vanished itself as was like burned gonna change it tomorrow, and it that was the fault ill give you some reward, tysm

I confirm, same issue, that resistor is damaged maybe broken or burned, replaced it and all is good now, thanks.

Hi there,

I'm trying to get the schematics and BV for a Dell XPS 15 9530 (motherboard: LA-L663P)... Can anyone help?

The board powers up for a couple of seconds then shuts down, no obvious shorts...

Any suggestions or advice welcome.

Im also planning to replace this resistor on my Dell XPS 15 9530 because of NVidia videocard keeps disconnecting after some time.

Also - any other confirmation that after replacing this resistor everything goes ok with Nvidia videocard?

i dont have picture ,, Read carefully what i wrote above ,, resistor is 330k can be replaced by 200k ,, it is on the back of PUV1 ,, find by measuring continuity and by impedance ,, definitely resistor is broken and replace it
