      @smdflea,no luck with the linked diagram. Mine is with separate PCH and almost nothing matches with G3MQ design.

        Hello, I have the same model with a short on the power supply, it comes from the PD8200 diode, I removed it and everything works perfectly again, the customer is quite eager to get the laptop back, I would like to know if it is really necessary to replace this diode, or can I not replace it? Because I don't have one and the delivery for the order is quite long, thank you

          It is a protection diode, you should leave it installed to avoid future failures due to potential differences generated in that circuit.
          600 W unidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) in a SOD128 small and flat lead
