    RTS5447 vs REALTEK 5447E

I'm working with two logic cards from similar computers "01-DG7BFM8D0 rev: D" and 02-DG7BJMB8C0 rev: C" the first one comes with a RTS5447 IC and the second one has the REALTEK 5447E IC, apparently similar, but not quite. On the first card I made several repairs because the computer wouldn't turn on at all, The AON 6936 mosfets were short, replaced and missing resistors and a few capacitors, of which the second one helped me a lot. The details are that now the first equipment already turns on with very low consumption of 0.10A ampere when the RTS5447 is installed, this is short, when I change this IC for the REALTEK 5447E the equipment turns on with a consumption of 0.04A, I do not have the data sheet of the REALTEK 5447E, I only have the diagram of a similar computer the data sheet of the RTS5447 can someone provide me the data sheet of this REALTEK 5447E?

    Audio Issues - Realtek ALC3306 - Lenovo Slim Pro 7 14ARP8 - Type 83AX
    by SoulFreeze
Hi, trying to troubleshoot some problems with this laptop I just finished repairing which had power issues (Burnt Buck converter - SY8883DFC shorted to ground).

After repairing the above issue, I realized the following remaining problem,
Sound only comes from bottom speakers, top palmrest speakers don't work. Neither does the headphone jack (static/buzzing).
The computer recognizes headphones are connected and displays a popup in windows
Sometimes, the computer will boot up and the sound will be working fine. However, if I run intensive programs and the computer...

    Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

Origin USB dock - no 5V on USB
    by tony359
    Hi all

I'm using a USB-C dock made by origin. It has a few USB A ports, two have stopped delivering 5V.

I opened the unit and found a USB controller made by Realtek, which controls whether the 5V is being delivered to the ports by lowering some pins which reach a couple of transistors which turn on or off the power.

The IC in question is RTS5412S. I can find the data sheet for the RTS5411 but not the 5412.

I see the transistors (I'm guessing they are, they're labelled A8AL9N.
I see a similar IC on another port and it's got...

Nihon Kohden (Tyco Electric) ET2400LM 24" Restoration
    by Topcat
This was rescued from a recycle gaylord from a hospital along with some other things....

I don't have to explain the significance of restoring this; 16:10 Aspect Ratio, 1920x1200; very high end Samsung LTM240CT04 panel. Add in it's blonde (will pair nice with a retro rig) and also ELO touchscreen. It is very well made, very heavy. Even used these are hard to find and expensive....but it had some problems...

Problem one, the external PSU was missing. I found one in my stash that had the correct voltage (12V) with the goofy 4-pin plug it used. It however was light on the...

Dell Inspiron 3542 (Cedar_Intel-MB 13269-1) - RTC battery self-discharging and Realtek LAN issue
    by danielsak
Hello, I have issue with Dell Inspiron 3542.

    Motherboard marking:
    Code:
    Cedar_Intel-MB 13269-1
    PWB FX3MC REV: A00
The laptop works just fine (on battery and power supply) and doesn't cause any problems, except those described below:
    1. The first problem is that the RTC/CMOS battery self-discharges after about 2-3 weeks after installing a new battery. I have been installing different batteries (GP, Duracell, Energizer) and the problem still exist.
    1. The second problem is the LAN network card (Realtek RTL8106E), which is not detected at all in Windows. The BIOS is
