    Aspire 4736z KALG1 schematics

Any one could share the schematics of KALG1 LA-5272P? Unit is totally dead... Tried already replacing ENE and isl6237... Switch voltage is always at 19vdc.

    Thanks....

Is it possible due to bios problem why it is totally dead? I'm concerned with the supply voltage at the power switch that instead of 3.3vdc i got 19vdc. Which is not normal for me.

        Thanks for the schematics.

High voltage in power switch, is perfectly normal. It comes from PQ1 (page 37) trough its internal diode, and PR12/ PR13, reaching the 51ON# point.
Check pin 8 voltage of U13 (bios chip) in order to know if there is +3VALW.

Thanks for the info.... BTW, is +3VALW is same with +3VALWP? I'm just a bit confused with the power up sequence of laptop computers. Just really wanted to know everything why it became dead. Because at some brands i always got 3.3vdc at power switch line.

Yes, +3VALW is the same as +3VALWP, they are joined by PJ2. (JUMP_43X118)
You can cut down pj2, in order to isolate both voltages.

When it will became 3.3vdc at switch line, after pressing the switch when everything is ok?or it will always be at 19vdc during standby?

Found it (PJ2) at p37. Maybe i'm dealing with same problem with lenovo g475 they got same schematics.

+3VALWP should be there as soon as you connect ac adapter, and signal MAINPWON go to high level, and if PU4 is not damaged.

No voltage is present at all pins of U13... Even +3VALWP at PU4 not present.... Tried already replacing PU4 but still the same.

Check 19volts at pin 6 of PU4, PR35 could be open.

19vdc at pin6 of PU4 is measurable. Do i have to replace again the PU4?

                              You have 19v right? now, Check the voltage of pin 1, 7, 4, 14, 27 of PU4.
