    iPad Pro 10.5 2017 (A1701)

Attempting my first iPad Pro board repair and I have a 0.47 amp draw and nothing else. Visually nothing looks like it's gone bad and I do have 3.8v on what I think is VCC main so if anyone has a schematic and maybe also a boardview to help me troubleshoot this further I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello! I have the same problem. Its drawing 0.46A constantly, even if the battery disconnected. The cpu is slightly warm, about 30C. Did you find the problem for your ipad and what was it? thanks

Do you have a complete board layout of iPad Pro 10.5 2017 (complete with the locations of the Test Points or TPs)? I need it.huhu

I tried searching the forum for whether this has been uploaded already, but couldn't find them (as a collection).
Here's a dump of a bunch of iPads, I've split into 2 archives to get under file limit

Finding replacement diode iPad Pro 3rd gen A1701
                    by asr
Hello, I am looking for help to replace a damaged diode. The tristar was replaced and a diode was damaged in the process. I have a picture of the diode but dont have an exact donor. I mostly have macbooks for donors and only a few ipad and iphone boards. Diode part number: DSF01S30SCAP
Im not sure where to find the ipad board number. Anybody have an idea where else this diode is used on other boards? Thanks....

Ipad 5 (2017 A1822) Need help identifying component
                    by Papa Gleb
                    Hello all,

I have an ipad 5 that came in for home button repair. Issue fixed and return to the customer who then stated it also has battery/charge issues. The battery seemed fine however the ipad would acknowledge the charger every other time. The port looked fine but considering that it would work than not, I decided to change the port. Port changed and yet it draws zero amps. Removed the shield and found this burned component. Tried to find a board view but seems like the ipad 5 is the only ipad for which board views don't exist.

Yes I should have definitely done...

HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns - Complete Black Screen - Only video on live usb
                    by iZakre
                    Hello everybody!

To put you in context I recently replaced the battery from my HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns with a used one, everything was going good. The same day, I decided to update the BIOS, everything went good. The thing occurred after I let the battery drain iddling on Windows 11 for the second time to calibrate it that the screen did not turn on again, the computer was on but the screen did not turn, like it would not wake from hibernation. I decided to restart the computer but got no video.

The thing is that I had installed TeamViewer and could log into the computer...

iPad Air A1475 Boot loops after replacing battery
                    by trepachka
This iPad was working fine except the battery was not holding charge for more than 40 minutes. I replaced it with a new battery. I haven't glued the battery yet, just inserted it into the slot and held it with battery screw.

The iPad was powered on with the new battery and I am getting white screen with Apple logo for about 10 seconds, then the screen turns dark. It then cycles like this forever.

I know the battery is working because the iPad continues to boot loop without the charger until it depletes to 0% and the message displays I need to plug in the charger.
