post the original contents of the bios chip..not the update on the website..
The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..

Hey boys and gals! i found this little gem for 80 bucks!! Problem is. It's obviously from a guy who was working for a company.. it's Bios admin locked combined with Windows bitlocker so i cannot prompt any cmd or whatsoever and i don't have access to the session password either... i do have a service tag ( expiring next month so its a very recent computer lol!! )
i tried a couple things.. but seems like my only option is to change the harddrive and try to find a bios chips and a shop to unsold and solder it from me... Any idea on what i should do?

also it's 8FC8 so not completely lock.. there might be a way !! finger crossedComment

Hi i need help with dell 7420 it was bios lock. patched done but after patched file it start giving white red green and blue screen only. Flashed back with original file as well but still same white green red and blue display. Please any one can guide that will be really appreciated . RegardsComment

I have come here with a rather specific question. I was given a Dell Latitude 7420 laptop with a busted screen, and wanted to see if I could refurbish it into my daily driver. I wanted to experiment and see if a 2-in-1 display would work as the chassis of the laptop and 2-in-1 7420 looked identical. Hi,
Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate... -
