I wanted to chime in and state I have the same issue and when i try to load this BIOS downloaded it states that the BIOS verification file could not be found. I attempted a stock BIOS (only one I could find) and it did the same thing. I had to attempt the update through the HP Diagnostics hub because the computer is just boot looping after a blue screen system error I believe it was AMI BIOS ERROR. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I really appreciate the fast response from you I truly do. I was experimenting in the middle of the night and found that if I set BIOS to default and then set the TPM to hidden I was able to get it to install an old version of Windows 10 from a USB drive I am currently completing the install so once it is complete I am going to immediately update the BIOS and other hardware drivers to prevent this same issue as I understand that is the cause is incompatibility between the OS and the BIOS because of its age. its an HP 17-121WM with bios version .45 I believe. I will keep you posted on my progress and again thank you so much for your response!

Same exact laptop and problem. Google searching brought me here. Hoping for a solution. I have managed to get it to boot a ventoy drive and attempted a clean install of various windows versions but all reboot after launching the install wiht blue screen acpi bios error.
