    Hello everyone,

Since I updated my BIOS, my laptop only shows a black screen and keeps restarting in a loop. I also hear a continuous high-pitched noise, like interference. The CPU doesn’t heat up, the fan doesn’t spin, and the power consumption stays at 0.076 A.

    Can someone help me?
Do I also need to update the small EC Firmware (Embedded Controller) chip?

    Thanks in advance.

post S/N, full name and model, motherboard model, TYPE,etc.

post the contents of the bios chip even if it is corrupted..

        Serial Number: PF2XEXWT
        Type: 20TD-006FFE

I attempted a repair using a BIOS file from your forum: the system now powers on, but the BIOS does not detect the hard drive, and it shows the processor as an i7, while the actual CPU is an i5.

Could you please help me fix this BIOS issue or provide a correct BIOS file for this model?

        Thank you in advance.
