Bios bricked, looking for a new bios.
Bricked bios dump attached.
Looks like it is a 8mb file.
Your laptop has two bios chips, 8MB+16MB, post both.

Just to clarify, I've dumped the bios using arduino and flashrom, while the 8mb bios dumped a 8mb file, the 16mb one dumped this 2mb file (tested twice on the 16mb one). Maybe i should use another SPI? Is it possible to get thr new bios with just the serial number? Thx.

The entire bios file for this model can be obtained but it does not have a DMI . Are you sure you have selected the correct 16MB chip?

I ve selected the wrong one. Attatched is the write dump. I tried writing your files in the the right chip, but laptop is still bricked, maybe with the right dump it is possible to make the bios files?

The file I posted is the virgin file from lenovo, it doesn't work for you means you don't have bios error.

ok. Just to check out if I am doing things right.
I`ve set flashrom to write both bios on the write chips, your 16mb file in the chip with a old 16mb file and your 8mb file in to the chip with the old 8mb file. The other chip with the 2mb file i left intact. It is still bricked, keyboard blinking, power button on and fans rotating slowly. I will try other ram modules. Am I missing something? What is this DMI location I see in others bios thread? Attached some mobo pics just in case. (the 2 soic 8 close to the battery are the 8 and 16mb ones. And the one close to the gpu/cpu is the 2mb weird one)

This is a DMI (device information) added file, the 2MB file is the firmware of the NVIDIA graphics card.

This Nvidia chip is 1.8v (2.5v max) acording to its datasheet. Despite being able to read and re read it, could i have damaged it? (my spi is 3.3v). Also, i 've renamed the files you've attatched cause terminal was complaining, may this cause any issues? And finally, just to be sure, those last bios files you've attached are exactly the same as the previuos?
Thx for everything, you've been of great help.

You should stop search bios solution anymore, your machine still has integrated Intel graphics card, renaming the bin file does not affect the file content, I said this is the original bios file, it will work when you don't have any other hardware failures.

2 days ago, I`ve unlocked the bios and was messing around with ram timing/voltage and core multiplier, then it bricked. I though hardware damage was hard to do this way and the culprit must be the bios. I guess you are right, must have damaged something. Thanks for your support anyways.
