    Dell Latitude 5420 Bios Password 8FC8

    Hello,
    I have a Dell Latitude 5420 stuck on the Dell Security Manager message on startup, I can't do anything.
    Here is my BIOS and what I assume is ME (32MB for BIOS and 1MB for ME).
    If someone could remove my BIOS password for me so I can reflash it afterwards.
    It's an 8FC8.
    ST/SN: JSJW5D3

                                                                          The laptop does not turn on if I use this BIOS file.
                                                                          But when I use the original BIOS, it won't turn on.

                                                                              Verify that the chip has been flashed, either with unlocked or locked bin. Your backup should ALWAYS work. Do not rely on a clip adapter, have chip desoldered and clean, re-tin pads on motherboard. Also clean middle pad on chip, excessive solder might not let the other pads make a good contact.

                                                                                  I have come here with a rather specific question. I was given a Dell Latitude 7420 laptop with a busted screen, and wanted to see if I could refurbish it into my daily driver. I wanted to experiment and see if a 2-in-1 display would work as the chassis of the laptop and 2-in-1 7420 looked identical. I threw in the display and my hypothesis was correct, however, I was greeted with a locked BIOS and since I didn't know the password, I figured I'd try to unlock it somehow.                                                                                   My Dell Precision T7910 died after enabling onboard SAS controller and applying RAID settings. There were no hardware changes between working and not working state, only setup (via bios -> controller settings). After applying settings and reboot PC turns on, flash leds (normally) but there's no further action, it just stays on with no graphics and no keyboard led's on. There's no Dell logo, nothing. I've tried resetting bios by jumper, replacing cpu's, replacing ram, removed/replaced cmos battery, disconnecting all drives etc. I've also dumped .bins from mobo chips SLI1 (16...
