thank you, it was ok but editing SN didn't solve the problem: installing new OS didn't allow me to skip "internet connection" - I think problem is win key embedded in bios and is registered to a company. Can you help me locate win key in bios or tell me what the problem is? i did try all combination in secure boot (delete keys, restore factory keys), disabled sure start and nothing worked. Thank you.

These are your keys. Notes from this forum I have, note that one solution involved rebooting 33 times:

Problem with MPM.
1. I solder and reflash U365 again.
2. I turn on the laptop, go into the BIOS and install MPM. Set a simple password. I save and reboot.
3. I go into the BIOS and reset the settings to factory settings. I save and reboot.

I found a solution to the problem.
While the BIOS lets us in and allows us to change the administrator password, I set my password. Then he rebooted 33 times until the red inscription disappeared. After that, the BIOS asked for a password to enter, and my password worked!

yes, I found win key ( search for hex 4F00410033 - O A 3)and change it with a win 7 pro key took from a sticker of an old laptop, wrote it in main bios and when it started did some bios recovery and restarted, after that it allowed me to skip internet connection. No need to change DMI or enter MPM mode., just win key.

hi, i am too struggling with a 435 g8 here. i cannot get past internet verification in any windows installer. i tried all the above files and whatever i do it keeps asking for verification. the current bios does not have any passwords except this remote thing. can anyone help me with ideas? i attach the 32mb + 32mb files. thanks!

Hi, i have a hp probook x360 435 G8.
My tech broke one of the chips while desoldering it U367. Bios chip is W25q256jven.

I dont have a backup of the original bios. and i have another chip thats W25q256fven.

I have tried flashing the files that you attached here on the FV version and teh U365 , it doesnt turn on and caps lock flashes 7 times.

Any solution to this problem or am i totally f'ed.

I have attached the original backup file for U365
But i dont have the original bin for U367, also i dont have the exact same chip rather a replacement chip W25Q256FVEN
