Hi everyone just another thing after i used the original unlock.rar from the above post my administrator password was removed however now the laptop does not recognise any of my M.2 harddrive slots could this be because i used anothers unlock rar or just a hardware issue? i have attached my original back up if it helpsComment

maybe. Post the laptop serial number,also pictures of any square white QR codes on the motherboard, there could be one under the SSD or wifi cards, or somewhere else, or if there`s a long white barcode sticker post a pic of thatComment

Hi thank you all for trying to help new update i put in the original bios from when the admin password was on and the M2 HDD works so if i give the original file could you help with the password removal thanksComment

i need some help :-/
i deleted in Bios the Admisnistrator password with old password, but after it didn't allow me to modify the User password. Now i can't boot, enter the bios or do anything. It asking at boot for password, old password don't work...
Could you please remove all password related stuff from this bios. A hate Asus....

Hello to all of you! I need help with a BIOS file.
The BIOS chip is fried on my Asus F542UN laptop, and I bought a new chip that needs programming. I have a CH341a programmer but I need a .bin BIOS file. On Asus support page the firmware has another extension, .310 and from reading on this forum I understand that that file is not complete BIOS.
So, in short I need the "complete" BIOS .bin file to flash on the new chip. Another issue is that on back of the case the label says F542UN but on the sticker on the motherboard it's X542UN. -

I have a 2022 Asus Tuf A15 that I haven’t used in almost a year, but I went to boot it up to install some new games and all I get is the black “enter password” screen. I don’t remember ever setting a password, and none of my regular passwords work. I can’t log into Windows at all. I called Asus and their only option is to send it in and pay $80 before they’ll even tell me how much it’ll cost to reset/erase the password. I would love not to have to do that, do I have any other options? Thank you in advance.

Hello, this is my first post on the forum, my apologies if i don't post in the right place.
Im trying to recover an asus bios password using this method.
I follow every step and it seems to work out well because i get a password but sadly the password doesn't work.
In my case, there is 2 times the same string that perfectly match the decyption hex, so my guess was that there is an user & an admin password and they are the same.
This is the string "0993C72677BA5C4DF3E012744407E89A0A2E8EC1E95444E89F7BFA0E55A2B0350BC9665CC1EF1C83".
