Hello everyone!

I needed help to clean the ME region of this original Bios Dump.

I just replaced PCH, original one was shorted and had the die cracked.
Ive quickly tested and it charges battery, turns on and off, but does not POST.
Hope all is good with PCH and just needs a clean me

This FILE is working perfectly . I used it to solve my GPU detection issue

It is because of bootguard. You can only use a PCH from an acer donor board with the same bootguard settings or use a PCH with no bootguard, then if the bios has bootguard the bios can be modified to disable bootguard. You can`t put a PCH with bootguard from a different brand and modify the bios, you would have to add the OEM key etc, not possible.

Hello friends, I have a question, whenever I change a PCH on an Acer notebook, the machine does not turn on if the PCH is used and removed from a different brand notebook, it only works with a new PCH or one removed from another Acer, any chance of a change in the bios making it work? I have this board here (la-j871p), I got the PCH from a Lenovo, but it doesn't work, as expected, I tried different bios, I have the original bios.
