Hi all., I am working on a Dell Inspiron 7506 2 in 1. This BIOS is corrupted. It just boots up in the Screen Diagnostics Color mode & gets stuck out there. I used the Bin files in post #14, all worked fine but the Service Tag is a issue right now & every bootup I have to press Alt-F to go out of servcie mode. It boots up into BitLocker as the Tag # is not correct. I have attached the Original BIOS Bin file (64 & 128), kindly fix for me please. Service Tag # 1SC2CL3 .. Thanks in advance

Buddy @hoaca388, thank you so much for the BIOS clean up. All works fine. 2 tiny problems, 1st one is that I cannot save the "Service Tag" in the BIOS, When I exit, the Service Tag column is blank again, I type again & upon exit , it does not save & 2nd is I cannot get laptop out of "Manufacturing Mode Active" by pressing "Alt-F". If possible ENTER/Type in the Service Tag (1SC2CL3) in the BIOS? Can you please help me, thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. I will do this 1st thing in the morning & inform you. Do you think it is because of this CMOS battery the Service Tag is not saving in the BIOS Setup???

There was at least one case that was resolved by replacing the CMOS battery, his CMOS battery was drained.

My Dears., Did it at last. I have no idea why @hoaca388 & @qayyum786 did not work. The outcome of these Bin Files was whenever I wanted to save the Service Tag # in the black space, never saved. I replaced with a brand new CMOS battery & checked the volts before installing it (3.2V). But did not work. So what I did, I programmed the 128MB with my Original Bin files (AS IS) & only programmed @hoaca388 64MB to another chip. & all went fine. The service tag was intact & I was not getting any "Manufacturing Mode Active" error. Thanks you guys for your great help, really appreciate!!!

• Provide the full machine model number, serial number (or Service tag, SNID) and the board model number (see https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=88758 ) ,The serial number, make, full model number, motherboard model and revision (except QR codes) must be written/typed at your request as per the rules. Not as a picture, part of the file name and so on.

unfortunately this does not work, it tries to turn on, the key backlight lights up, but the screen does not light up and so on in a circle

Okay, with a new BIOS it may be that a Dell logo only appears after the fourth boot attempt.
A good sign is that the keyboard backlight appears.
Maybe you just need a little more patience.
I can handle it most of the time.
