Hi!

Can somebody help me reading content of SPI ROM chip for my laptop?
The technician told me, that the bios is good, but in meantime we lost the original content of Super IO chip witch is in the other side of motherBoard.
He told me, that it would help, if I could get the same version of my laptop from somebody and read the content of that chip, but I found no one in my region.
The laptop powers on, but does not boot, power button blinks.

There`s nothing wrong with that bios. If you want to try a newer version try the one at post #27 .If that doesn`t work you could try flashing the EC. Hardware issue or EC ? ,don`t know.

you have at post #6 the interval in which the DMI information is located, use the HxD program and pass the information from your bios, into the bios from post #6 which is virgin.. select the area and (copy - paste)..

Hi. Don't need to put sn? The laptop was at many services, and don't have nothing... I wolud put new chips...

if you read the whole thread before posting, you would have solved the problem a long time ago.. you would have known you had to go to post #6... when you make a bios request, they always post the bios even if it is corrupted..

Try this file, it's a Virgin BIOS from Lenovo with your DMI.
At least write your Motherboard Number.

my laptop behaves very similarly. The power button flashes 6 times, current consumption is about 0.30A. Unfortunately, I do not know the exact model or serial number because the sticker has been damaged.
I have attached the bios I read.
I would ask for the correct bios and input to the EC.

Try this file, it's a Virgin BIOS from Lenovo with your DMI.
At least write your Motherboard Number.
