Hello everyone

I have an Hp elitebook x360 830 G7, the bios is blocked with a password.
I bought a ch341a programmer with clamp and the bios is a W25Q257JVEN.
when I plug the programmer into my PC the ch341a software tells me that the programmer is not responding but sees it connected.
I don't have the equipment to remove the solder and I'm desperate to read the chipset.

If the bios chip is WSON8 and your clip is SOP8 it will not work,you will damage the chip.

Impossible, there's definitely a 16MB chip left, find chips with 128 on the body, for example 25Q128...

Here's your Unlocked file, in the first boot go to bios menu and disable security options (Default).
If the password still present, upload your EC chip it could be 16MB or 32MB.

read through the whole thread, you can do it yourself using RCUnlocker

RCUnlocker does not work with the 32MB file, I tried with the 1MB file it does not work either :s
