    Good morning,

The bios is a W25Q256JVEN, I made a mistake on the first post
After wandering around the forum I start to get lost, I don't know anything about the subject
If you could shed some light on this for me please
What model of programmer do I need? and if I can do it without removing the solder

Thank you and have a good day

    Elitebook X360 360 G7 Password Bios

    Hello everyone

I have an Hp elitebook x360 830 G7, the bios is blocked with a password.
I bought a ch341a programmer with clamp and the bios is a W25Q257JVEN.
when I plug the programmer into my PC the ch341a software tells me that the programmer is not responding but sees it connected.
I don't have the equipment to remove the solder and I'm desperate to read the chipset.

    Hello,
    I'm from France,
I found this forum while wandering around the net because I have a bios problem and I found it very interesting that this whole community found solutions to the problems, and I hope that I could solve my problem with you too.

    Thank you
