hello guys, last week i posted to ask for bios clearance on my dell 5420 and i was assisted perfectly because the dump was unlocked however the laptop bios is able to see my ssd but windows is failing to detect it so that i should load OS.

Hello guys, I have a Dell Lattitude 5520 which has EEPROM 256MB. The problem is EEPROM its one of the leg is broken. That is way, I cant find original BIOS BIN file. Thus Please help me to find a file that has following info:

Unfortunately still the same. All working fine until I exit manufacturing mode by pressing alt+f. Shut down and no more reacting on power button. Flash the bios, same story until alt+f. Tried some dumps from this thread, no start.Comment

Dell latitude 5580, motherboard cdp 80 la-e151p
3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"

I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.

I have come here with a rather specific question. I was given a Dell Latitude 7420 laptop with a busted screen, and wanted to see if I could refurbish it into my daily driver. I wanted to experiment and see if a 2-in-1 display would work as the chassis of the laptop and 2-in-1 7420 looked identical. I threw in the display and my hypothesis was correct, however, I was greeted with a locked BIOS and since I didn't know the password, I figured I'd try to unlock it somehow. Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅... -
