    Help with Ideapad 310-15isk BIOS reprogramming

    Hello.
    I have a Lenovo Ideapad 310-15isk, with corrupted BIOS.
    I have used CH341a programmer to make a backup.
    I have installed from this forum a BIOS dump, but now I don't have the product, s/n...
    I am not able to extract that data from my backup with the HxD program nor with UEFITOOLS.

    How can I recover it?, I need help

      Using HxD search for the text: LENV .The DMI is crypted,there`s 2 LENV areas to copy,use the offsets in the picture, copy from your backup and paste-insert into the same offsets in the new bios.

          It took me several attempts, but in the end by copying offset 234000 to 235FFF, I did it!

                  Hi everyone,

                  I have a lenovo ideapad 310-15isk after a restart before or on the lenovo logo I held the power button to power it off. After I tried to power it on I had black screen, cpu fan working the laptops works for about w0 secs and then restarts automatically and the whole process repeats. I tested many ways and at last I found that the problem is the bios. I want to flash the bios using a USB flash drive.I have three problems and I really apreciate your help.
                  1. which file to use for ideapad 310-15isk A751 Rev 1.
                  2. what should be the exact name of the .bin file so that the computer can read the flash and the bin file when I connect the USB flash drive?
                  3. what keys should I hold before powering the laptop? (I hear fn+R, but I am not sure whther it works for this model of laptop).
                  If there is any other procedure I should follow,please tell me.

                      Dear all,

                      I have recently fixed a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 ALC6 that was not booting due to a BIOS issue. After flashing the BIOS, the laptop boots up, but hard disk is not recognized in BIOS. Is says "Hard Disk : Not Installed". I have tried with 2 different drives (one that I know is working on another laptop) but I get the same result. I do not know if disks were recognized before I got the laptop and fix it, but I don't see any reason why not. I can boot on USB though.

                      Here the steps I have taken to fix the laptop:
                      - downloaded latest BIOS from Lenovo Website...

                      So a couple of years ago i got a bios update through Lenovo Vantage, so i installed it and bricked my whole BIOS, so i couldn't fix it so i put that ideapad in a box, 3 years later i found that one PC and want to recover it to switch from a 2014 hp laptop to this one.

                      I found a method to recover the BIOS of many lenovo laptops tha consists in pluging in a USB Flash with the BIOS files and power on the laptop with Fn + R keys pressed until fans go loud and start beeping loud, but nothing worked, so i think filename is wrong, i tried naming the bios file as 07WW.BIN, BIOS.BIN, BIOS.fd,...

                      Hello everyone,

                      I soft BRICKED my Lenovo IdeaPad laptop (black screen with led lights on, responsive keyboard backlight, fans spinning) after messing about with a Github tool called Smokeless. I am now attempting to reflash the bios through USB, but I am not sure if I extracted the correct BIOS ROM file to flash, and I also could not find the correct file name to rename it to (GLCrisis.bin, GLCN.bin, Currom.bin??). In addition to attempting to reflash the Bios with a USB, I have also performed the following activities:

                      Recently I used the official Lenovo bios updater software on my ThinkBook 13s G3 ACN (20YA0005GE). The updating process failed and I got a black screen after powering the device. Of course I did not make an own backup before using the Lenovo bios updater.

                      I bought a CH341A programmer and was able to make a connection to the chip while it is still soldered on board. But I did not realise that the chip was a 16MB size and selected the wrong size (8Mbit / 1 MByte) before reading the content of my chip. So the dump I did before erasing the chip is only 1MByte big. I fear that I lost...

                      Dear Forum Readers!

                      I'm looking for a BIOS modder or anyone with experience who would give me suggestions about my razer blade's BIOS settings.
                      I can view and edit the content of the BIOS .bin file with AMIBCP BIOS editor.
                      The BIOS files I'm working with are from badcaps.net and those are CLEAN BIOS files (anyone can find it with the search string: RZ09-0421).
