  • Bios request for IdeaPad 5 Pro 16IAH7 - Type 82SK

    Hey folks,

Getting no post on a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro 16IAH7. Thinking maybe corrupted BIOS but not sure. Does anyone have a working dump I can try?

  • Hey everyone.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a laptop from a second hand shop in the UK called "Cash Generator". A week later I was locked out by what I believe is CompuTrace. I returned the laptop, exchanged it for another similar spec laptop and they sold me the original for £100 as "parts". Now I need a dump of a BIOS so I can get this one back up and running. I've dumped the W25Q256 and W16R128 for backup, but honestly I have no clue what to modify in order to clean it...

The ICs are next to each other on the board. I'm not sure which one is needed......

Cheers bud for the shoutout Hopefully the WiFi module fixes the issue for you. I'd say that order will be with you by Friday (depends on Royal Mail and USPS I guess). From what you've said (yeah I've just read the entire thread) it does seem to be a WiFi issue. Given that there's a bunch of shorts below the module too it's unlikely to be a single cap because I believe all those caps are on separate lines so shouldn't be linked in any way. The WiFi module very commonly goes bad on these things. They're a lot worse than the PS4...
