only one bin file 16mb :

your bios bid file number is 08466


you can download Bios update from HP website and extract it then it will autorun , select copy bios image to folder and you will find 16mb bios file in the folder. this is a working virgin bios. it will sure boot but will ask DMI info at start.

First you have to share your backup bios file ( corrupted one) it has DMI info. open it in hex editor you will find DMI info.

Hello Experts,

Can someone handy help here and verify that the bios files are ok ? Previous owner said it died during install of windows 11.
I have 5 long and 3 short blinks on caps lock , it will not boot.

I have tried bios 08466 , still same result , no boot.
I can see serial number in BIOS-file so it is partly good i guess.

the file you attached have different md5 than mine so probably another version.
One strange thing is that i flashed the original bios , and started my omen , still black screen 5,3 blinks etc . I desoldered bios chip again and it reads a changed md5 so something was updated on it and i don't understand that.

Seems like the EC is good because fans spinning and both spu and gpu get somewhat warm , i havent done any electrical tests yet.
So EC can't connect to BIOS....

post the original bios and EC of the laptop, the full name and model, s/n, etc...
