You can copy the DMI using the attached macro script.


This will only work if you have made a good backup !!!!!!

1. Install Tiny Hexer -> link in thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1214739

2. Make a new folder on your C: drive called DMICOPY

3. Move or copy contents of extracted zip (UX534FTC_CopyDMI.mps) to DMICOPY folder

4. Move or copy your bios backup and the new bios to the DMICOPY folder

5. Rename your backup bios "oldbios.bin" ,rename the new bios "newbios.bin" (without the quotes "")

6. Run "UX534FTC_CopyDMI.mps" and the DMI will be copied from oldbios.bin to newbios.bin

Hello. After flashing the BIOS, the laptop stopped turning on, when you press the button, the red and white LED lights up, the cooler does not spin.

Hi everyone,
I'm working on a UX534FTC (ASUS ZenBook) computer that originally had a faulty CPU and PCH. I transplanted a working CPU and PCH from a Lenovo NMC421 motherboard. I verified that the motherboard is fully functional—it boots correctly on the original motherboard.

Now, on the ASUS motherboard, the system briefly powers on (~250 mA) and then shuts down—no POST, no backlight, no fan spinning.

So far, I've tried:

🔧 Flashing a clean ASUS BIOS (UX534FTC_306)
🔧 Flashing the full CSE region from Lenovo to the clean ASUS BIOS
🔧 Maintaining the original BIOS region (matching the ASUS motherboard layout)

Despite all these changes, the system still won't boot. I suspect EC is forcing a DMI/SMBIOS check, or maybe BootGuard is still silently rejecting something (fuse conflict?).
