Use the guides linked in this post to ID your bios and extract the update from HP https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...95#post1839395

When you have the new bios use a hex editor to copy your DMI (serial,feature byte,win key) from your backup to the new bios. The offsets are the same as in that post 400000 - 40403F

You`ll always be a beginner until you try. Search the forum for 086AA https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-c#post3208126 .There`s a virgin bios, try it.If its working with that bios we can add the DMI later

You could try some older bios versions, but for that you`ll have to extract them yourself using the guides. There`s around 15 older bios versions at HP support. If an older bios version also doesn`t work i`d say you have some sort of hardware problem.
