      Re: Hp 850 g2

      I'm asking for help:
No one could help me with this: I received an Hp 850 G2 for repair. It was a scrapped company machine with a bios password. During disposal, the bios chip was removed and crushed. I bought a new chip, wrote a bios file, and more, but the machine does not display a picture, the fan rotates at high speed. Is there a bios file that works with the machine? Many people tried to help, I wrote many files, but it's the same. So the machine was working before scrapping! when scrapping, the bios chip with the password was thrown away. original content is not available. there is hope?

Only the own bios file was willing to start after deleting the password. I assume this will be the case here as well, only the own bios file would be good, but the one is not there. Your serial number is from an 850 G2,but the motherboard part number is an 840 G1/850 G1 .

It isn`t the first time you have asked for a bios for the same machine.....

            https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1134386 (off-topic in an 820 G2 thread)
            https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1041868

If the motherboard part number is correct then the bios posted by satshkumar should have worked,if you flashed BOTH chips ?

There are plenty of other working bios already posted for the 840 G1/850 G1. If none of them work then youve got other problems, maybe youve damaged some traces or blown some resistors away or something. How many bios do you want to try ?

Hi! I'm sorry, I don't want to be smart or cause trouble, but I would like to solve the problem with you. You are professionals, that's why I'm asking for help. I may not be able to express myself well with my poor English skills. I have solved many bios updates that have gone wrong with customers, by writing bios. I also solved many machines with forgotten passwords (HP unlocker, RC unlocker). However, I don't know how to edit BIOS, you know that professionally. According to my client, this machine worked, but since it was written off (replaced) the company removed the hdd and the bios chip and threw it away.

                      ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
                      by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                      Some issues
                      A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                      Things I tried

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
                      by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

                      by Wahaz
                      Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....
