Re: Need Bios Dump HP 440 G6
Hi,
I have an HP Probook 440 G6 (motherboard no DAX8JMB16E0 REV E) which tries to power on, LED's are lighting on and there is short fan spin, but no display and no POST, and I get a blink error code of 5 long blinks (system board malfunction). I checked everything on the board, there are no shorts, resistances across coils and the CPU is good, MOSFET's measure fine. I was thinking that this is maybe a BIOS issue.
I have attached my BIOS dump, could somebody try to clean/repair it?
I thank you very much in advance for your help!
Cheers,

Re: Need Bios Dump HP 440 G6
The Serial Number in your Backup (5CD7482KPH) is referring to (HP ProBook 440 G5) not (440 G6), Next time post your request in the right thread.Attached Files----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

by CityminHi all,
My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
(I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)

by m1ch43lzmHi everyone
I noticed on the Xgpro software the BIOS backup files have extra bytes at the end when reading some chips, this is because the Xgpro software also reads the OTP region of those flash chips, and by default will append that region to the saved file
Programmer models: XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76
Example: GD25LQ128D (1.8V), IC size is listed as 0x1000000 Bytes (16777216 bytes) + 0xC00 bytes, those extra 0xC00 bytes will be appended to the end of the saved file by default, resulting in a file size of 16780288 bytes
There's also an extra OTP Secu.R...-

by joshAUHi all.
I'm looking for a BIOS file for an Asus N550JK.
I have a Asus R552J, which I believe is identical to the Asus N550JK.
I downloaded the latest BIOS (210) for the R552.
It is named N550JKAS.210.
The BIOS file is however only 6mb in size.
I've read the chip with a CH341A programmer and verified the file.
That file is actually 8mb in size.
I'm wanting to remove the BIOS password from this unit.
It prompts you to input the password when turned on, so its sort of behaving like a power on password rather than...-

by adelageHi,
I am trying to recover an ECS Z77-H2 motherboard, I dumped the original bios with a ch341a programmer, the bios from the manufacturer is a .cap file of smaller size, and it seems that I need to merge this file with other information from the dump, anyone can explain how to do that?-
