The notebook is the same, but the repaired bios did not display video.
It just flashes the screen.
I tested with another Bios, everything was ok, but it does not find the Wi-Fi card.

Hi all,
i´ve also trouble with my ACER and i think it´s because of a bad BIOS, After BIOS Update i have a black Screen. I tried the BIOS from hardware1 from Post #7 but unfortunetly it does not work. Before testing these i have make a Dump from my old one. So maybe someone with more knoledge of whats inside can take a look at it.

Hello everyone, I'm looking for help unlocking the BIOS of my Acer Aspire A515-51 laptop. The BIOS is password-locked, and I can't access it. I can boot Windows normally, but I can't enter the BIOS. Here's the information: - Model: Acer Aspire A515-51 - BIOS version: Insyde Corp v2.02 dated January 3, 2019 - Code displayed after several incorrect attempts: 1490294619 - The master password generated by biosb****om is: 041bb6639623703 - My BIOS accepts up to 13 characters; I can enter: 041bb6639623 (beyond that, entry is blocked). I've tried several shortcuts, but none of them work. Acer is asking me €50 for an unlock code, which I find excessive. I am experiencing the following issue with my laptop. I have an Acer Aspire A717-71G with a motherboard model C5MMH/C7MMH LA-E911P Rev. 1A. Unfortunately, the original board stopped working, so I purchased a replacement. The new board is the same model but a different revision (Rev. 1B).
