Re: A25 Main Board Rev:2.1 need bios.
Theres a 209 bios on the technopat forum,i think that was the last available bios. It only has the 2MB bios update, not the full bos.Don`t use your programmer, use the included flasher from a dos bootable drive. Thats all the help i can give you .

Re: A25 Main Board Rev:2.1 need bios.
What model is your programmer ? , if its a CH341A try NeoProgrammer software - https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...04&postcount=7 NeoProgrammer
The reason the awardflasher won`t work is because its an AMI bios ,so use your programmer .
.
Also the motherboard is good , no any water damage, broken parts or any corrosion on it 😂😂😅Leave a comment:

Firstly, I thank you for your helps and efforts
I confirm that your dump file is working, I flashed it with CH341Amini programmer with Neoprogrammer without an issue, and version become from 209 to 208
The computer boots normal, but the problems remain same bios lags while save changes and exit about 15 - 20 sec and it's not restarting laptop, after selecting save changes and exit is not rebooting laptop its hangs about 15 sec and shuts down, but saving changes.
Also by this version (208) I also lost intel hd graphics driver support on windows 10, the screen goes black when logging to windows 10 , but windows 7 works fine, (did not test windows 8.1 for intel hd graphics driver issues)
Also the other problems remain same,
When you select to restart computer on windows, computer hangs a while and shuts down instead of restart, current composition is going to 0.02A and when you power it on by button, it's start windows without any issues (except intel hd graphics driver problem)
When you select shut down windows , seems shuts down everything then screen goes black and then current composition this time remains about 0.91A and hangs until forever unless you keep power switch Pressed about 4 or 5 sec or remove the power cord but before on 209 bios version current composition was about 0.61A instead of 0.91A
If you keep pressing like about 4 -5 secs then the laptop shuts down and current composition is retuning 0.02 - 0.03A , normal startup stage
This is very strange,
Are there any bios dumps that I can test ??
I don't think that it's an hardware issue, because when you restart the computer shuts down and return normal stage (0.02A) and instead of these the computer works normally, without any doubts, I have dumps as last 209 , with intel hd works on windows 10 but the others problems are same and this dump is 2 mb, instead of 4 mbLeave a comment:

Re: A25 Main Board Rev:2.1 need bios.
First, I get my dump as 2MB file size, but what is interesting is that, I checked the rom chip on motherboard and it's an Winbond 25q32bvsig , I mean it's 4mb as well, also your file is on post 2 is 4mb as well, I tried to flash it with awardflasher and it gave an error like file size does not match rom on chip is 2 mb but file is 4mb so it did not perform flashing, so what I will do now , I will take out the chip , and first will take an dump again with the spi flasher and then try to program your file on it and test it, but what is interesting that my dump is 2mb instead of 4 mb , rom chip also capable of 4 mb and computer works but can't understand why is 2 mb instead of 4 mb, do you have any idea ? And do you think that will it work after flashing 4 mb file instead of 2 mbLeave a comment:

Re: A25 Main Board Rev:2.1 need bios.
If you flashed it before with the awardflasher then it should work or flash it with an SPI programmer if you have one. Desoldering the chip is the most reliable way,but you can try it with a sop8 clip too.Leave a comment:

Re: A25 Main Board Rev:2.1 need bios.
Ok my friend, i will test it and post the result, should I flash it with awardflasher.exe or external firm flasher (directly program to rom chip)?? , does it require the Ec programmer also or no need?? , thanks for your helpLeave a comment:

Re: A25 Main Board Rev:2.1 need bios.
Make a bios backup first and try the bios at post #2 .The version is 208 ,there`s been 1 member so far out of 144 who downloaded it that said thanks,so i assume its working for him, everyone else has been too lazy to confirm one way or the other .

by DynaxSCHi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...11-17-2023, 10:56 AM -
by Dani_2024Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
Main power board model: TP.MS3683.PC821 T-Con board: N4TP546UHDPU2L_BO
Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...5 Photos -
by jb_BakHey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.
Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
CN6401
Pin 01 NC
Pin 02 NC
Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
Pin 04 "N/C"
Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
Pin 06 "GND": N/C
Pin 07 "AC_OFF"... -

Issue: No Power, Then Rebooting After Main Board Change
Short answer: replace main board and power board
Technical answer: replace main board and Q306 & Q307 on power board.
Long answer:
TV wouldn't turn on. Power switch was fine which means the main board isn't processing the power on signal. Replaced main board. TV turns on now but randomly reboots. Bad main board? EEPROM? Tried to pull main board and got a shock touching the corner of the board. That's weird. C334 (450V 10uf) capacitor is still holding a high charge.... -
by cheeky2I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection... - Loading...
