The bios updates can be extracted and edited,ZAW and ZAW2 are not the full bios,they are only bios updates at 13MB .Ive seen a few rev G dumps on the net and they`re only 8MB ,so i don`t know either ?

i extraced 13Mo from exe file + 3Mo header acer bios from other backup

the eprom is a Winbond 128 ... btw now when the pc starts ( 24 seconds on warming up and 3 minutes to load windows ) there is the Intel Management Engine (on drivers) with an error.. this maybe can be a CLEAN ME issue?

P.S. the flashed one is reporting the 1.12 release of the bios.. and after that i flashed with official tool to 1.17... and now i'm trying to flash to 1.18 ( that is the last one) .. just to be sure that BIOS and ENE will be at equal version of ME

these are the 2 driver (also the 3D video card without any driver)
that become not working.

SMDFlea you are a GENIUS! this BIOS is perfectly working on the A315-55G board release G !!!


P.S. the FAN is very loud, seems spinnig at maximum speed after a while.. thermal compount was just replaced ... i saw that the BIOS version is the 1.18

P.P.S. after a while i pressed a switch (reset for freezed super-io chip) on the board... after that the fan is no more working at full speed... the CPU is an i5 10th with a turbo mode of +4ghz (!!!) 8 threads... a beast.

I`m no genius. I used the bios from this thread,post #8 https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=89632 .I cleaned the ME firmware .Clean the heatsink fins,and check if the fans metal cover is removable,lift the fan off the spindle,if it will lift with no force and put a drop of sewing machine or other light oil on the spindle.

OMG never seen this thread

the fan is perfectly cleaned, the laptop has 1000 hours of use. the noise was for the extrtemely high rotation of the fan.

i attached my with no display problem.. maybe someone could repair my dump..
i tried already a posted backup and it's working but i want to restore the original DMI/winkey data..
