Hello,
Windows Update installed the 01.28.00 Bios on my 830 G5.
Now the boot screen shows "Warning This BIOS is not for production use"

The version number is strange:
wmic bios get biosversion
BIOSVersion
{"HPQOEM - 0", "HP - 10000"}

Everything I tried to update or downgrade my BIOS under windows or within the Boot menu with an usb stick failed. invalid firmware in BIOS

At least Windows is working fine. 😀

The Bios file from EFI-Partiton HP/BIOS/CURRENT matches (done with Beyond Comare) in large parts the bin-File q78_012800.bin

At the moment I don't have any external hardware for flashing a bios.

And I'm not the only one with that problem with the 830 G5 and the 01.28.00 Bios.

What caused the problem? Can anything else be done via software?
