OK thanks a lot. but as soon as I plug the machine it emits a beep sound and then it does not display.

This is what is on the case. The original motherboard is flooded, a new DT473 NM-B071 REV: 1.0 was purchased, with a completely identical configuration.
When enabling the error
2200: Machine Type and Serial Number are invalid.
2201: Machine UUID is invalid.
They are also not registered in the BIOS. Then the laptop boots.
Firmware dumps from this thread, provided by SMDFlea (thank you very much for the options),
lead to the same result.
How can this be fixed.

What do you want editing, what is the problem. Does it have a password, boot slow, black screen etc

It stays on a black screen. I used the bios in the 6th message and it worked without any problems.

I have a ThinkPad T470p that cannot initialize the Ethernet connection. The device manager shows the device with an exclamation mark and the error message is "Code 10".
I know it is BIOS related because flashing the BIOS from another T470p fixes the problem (but introduces a code 10 error for the fingerprint reader). I would be very grateful if someone could fix the BIOS.

Thinkpad T470p bottom cover tamper detection error


Hi, I'm having this annoying problem where each time I power on the computer, this tamper error message comes up, forcing me to hit escape so that i can boot to desktop.

I've tried enabling and disabling this option in bios, resetting bios to default, setting and deleting supervisor passwords, none of that worked.

I've also tried removing and putting the cover back on, checked for any visible spacing on the laptop case, no luck.

I'm not that frustrated, but it still is kind of annoying.

Anyone got any ideas?
