Hi @hoaca I tried that initially as usually that always works except this being g an administrator password I believe it's slightly different as the generated codes produced phrases but none of them worked just said "incorrect"

Hi all,

I've got an 7480 with BIOS password that I can't get. Now I read the BIOS chip with my CH341A progger but I don't find anything like the HP unlock tool to unlock the BIOS. Is there anybody out there who can free my 16MB bin-file from the PW?

My service tag seems to be DGSKJR2 and the BIOS is here.

I bought the computer from a company for a couple of pennies and I guess it is my personal bad luck that there's a password on the BIOS. Nobody remembers, of course...

It looks like it worked! I could update the BIOS to the newest version from Dell without struggling like before! Many thanks for your support! Is there anything I have to consider?!?

hello, can you redo the bios for me with a new update please, I tried to clean the region, without result, I tried post 23, the fans were activated then turned off, I have tried post 33 without result, the eeproms are well supplied with 3v and the battery charges well, I am sure that the bios is corrupted, thank you

Please I need your help. The equipment has been removed from the company because it does not work. After checking, I see that the problem is that the BIOS is corrupt, but it does not allow me to restore it because I have a password.
