but my original bios is 2mb and this laptop never been open before so nobody change the chip.does anyone have a working bios 2mb please

I just downloaded dell oficial update for inspiron 1520 and the bios is 1mb only-100% certified.

but how it could be original 2mb and official 1mb.i tried with 1mb chip and flash with your file laptop is dead with this original backup laptop turns on but sometimes stack on logo

bios is 1MB . What is your motherboard part number.

EDIT: try this vostro 2MB bios .

Are you sure its inspiron 1520 only and not vostro 1520??

Always go by the board number. It could be an Inspiron 1720 PP22X ,and that one is 1MB also .

ITS SOLVED !!!!! .The correct bios size is 1MB as mcplslg123 said. And he may be right about the bios chip being changed,unless there were some that left the factory that way. The bios is the same 1MB programmed consecutively .

Heres the 1MB A09 bios....at 2MB
