Lenovo E520 Default Screen PN and Bios

Does anyone knows the default screen part number for Lenovo E520 ?

Also, might have firmware for that screen ?

I have a Lenovo E520, and a tech has changed the screen. I have tried different screens, i can see post screen with backlight only with a M101NWT2 screen - will all others i get only backlight without anything more.

yes, it is normal. many screens of the same size are not compatible to each others. that is why I hate screen replacement.
how many other 15.6" screens have you tested on this laptop so far?

Sounds like there is a communication problem between your board and display, like eDP circuit is disabled someway, that's why you getting that error, M101NWT2 screen has resolution of 1024x600 which supported by post screen only, not the OS that's why you see post screen only.
E520 originally supports resolution of 1366x768 15.6 led screen. whenever you replace a screen, to let your motherboard recognise the display you must make sure your screen's eprom talks to motherboard first, so your motherboard can know what resolution to go on with in order to keep display going.

I havent tested further than post screen.

How i can make sure that motherboard talks with screen ?

I have a screen programmer, tested to a 15.6" screen some firmwares of AUO, LG and Philips screens without result.

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem

                    Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
                    Initial Findings:
                    • My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
                    • I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
                    • I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
                    Troubleshooting Steps & Conclusions:
                    • I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
                    • I concluded that the

Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 (serial number: MP2BFZEF) bios request
                    by Wahaz
                    Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

I need Lenovo yoga 6 13ARE05 bios- broken screen and no bright light on keyboard
                    by BlueNitesFire
So I couldn't remember my bios password and since it was broken screen, I used to connected to the TV via Type C to HDMI. So I decided to remove the Bios chip and reprogram the Bios chip with ch314a.. when I try to solder Bios on the laptop, one of the Bios leg broke off.. I bought a new blank Bios chip so I can programmed by flashing on the bios.

Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 Desktop - Corrupt BIOS
                    by grimacelord
                    Hello there.

I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

                    History:

                    1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

I searched for this error online and discovered...

                    by jendkkd jeje
So a couple of years ago i got a bios update through Lenovo Vantage, so i installed it and bricked my whole BIOS, so i couldn't fix it so i put that ideapad in a box, 3 years later i found that one PC and want to recover it to switch from a 2014 hp laptop to this one.

I found a method to recover the BIOS of many lenovo laptops tha consists in pluging in a USB Flash with the BIOS files and power on the laptop with Fn + R keys pressed until fans go loud and start beeping loud, but nothing worked, so i think filename is wrong, i tried naming the bios file as 07WW.BIN, BIOS.BIN, BIOS.fd,...
