Re: Please Remove Password In Bios Dump
2. Even though the password is in biosregion and i can remove it, but I'm not sure you can flashing that file without spiprogrammer.
3. The correct way is to read and write back the file using spiprogrammer...
4. If you are still curious you can try it without a SPIprogrammer but I am sure you will experience a failure ...Attached FilesComment

Re: Please Remove Password In Bios Dump
1. Your file is not full bios (bios region only, no meregion etc), use the SPIprogrammer to backup your bios ..

Re: Please Remove Password In Bios Dump
Hi Rioreno,
Sorry to trouble but will I'm trying to read the my "winbond 25Q128FVSQ 1535" bios chip on my CF-SX4, I've clip the reader EZP2019 on to the chip but it detacted the chip as 93_EEPROM instead of SPI_FLASH.
is that correct and if not how can i let it read or detact the chip correctly?Comment

by NopslideHello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.
My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).
Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set....-
