Hi, I also have a E5470 in which the generated password from bios-pw.org does not work.
Bios version 1.21.4

With which tool do you replace the bios region? I tried "UEFITool NE", but the "Replace as is..." menu option is always disabled.
Would any newer bios downloaded and extracted from the dell website work or use one as close as possible?

Hello, i have an e5470 with a locked bios. The bios version is 1.26.3, and the system number is 4T21TC2-E7A8. Wasn't able to get in the with the code from bios-pw.org (tried the ctrl + enter as well).

Not sure what other info is needed to get help with this, but please let me know!

I poked around the site and couldn't find anything to help with reading the bios. Is there a quick guide i might be able to use or an example of what it needed?

Would a bios backup be what you need? Sorry for the ignorance.

Dell Latitude E5470 intel Core i5-6300HQ

I tried couple of bios that are listed under older E5470 threads but none of them worked.
I am getting black screen with power button light on. No other indication.

Condition Before Bios Flash :
- Was stuck on booting into Diagnostic Boot Menu for some reason and no key combination worked at all. After little bit of research I concluded the faulty bios.

Programmer : EZP2019+
Its detecting SPI_FLASH chip as W25Q128

Logic Board :
ADP70 LA-C831P
Rev : 3.0(A02)
2015-11-19

Forgot to backup previous bios

Anyone having same model , please upload bios dump.
