Lenovo V310-15IKB Type 80T3 laptop, i7 7th cpu with dedicated Ati video
sn LR09493E
MB DAOLV6MB6F0 REV. F
The laptop was working fine, the only problem was that when I turned it on, the screen was hard to turn on, it would wait for about 30-40 seconds before an image appeared on the screen.
Initially, I updated from windows to Intel Management Engine 11.8 Firmware, restarted, everything was fine.
Then I updated the bios, also from windows, to the last vs, vs 46. It restarted, those lines with bios update progress appeared, restarted and that's it, since then I haven't been able to get it to show an image on the screen.
It starts normally when I press the power button, waits a few seconds, restarts, then waits about 20 seconds again and then the fan starts and that's it. Capslock does not light up the LED when pressed and it does not give any error code through the LEDs.
I wrote 3 bios from here that others said worked for them, but not for me.
I even edited the DMI on one of them, it's somewhere between 820000 and 822020, to no avail (I think I read a comment that someone didn't start it until they wrote the original SN, it probably wasn't the same as the one in ITE)
I wrote a bios, the same way, declared that it would definitely work on the v310 with dedicated video, and I also wrote the EC, through the keyboard jack, to no avail, the same behavior.
That EC has an IT8886HE.
Unfortunately, I looked at the ssd and it didn't automatically back up the bios, or it deleted it... I seem to remember it had vs 26.
I saved the bios, but it's the defective one. I also saved the ec.
Do you have any ideas, please, thank you.
I attach bios+ec, versions after windows updates.Attached FilesComment

So, i respond to myself
After many hours.... i use from here "Lenovo V310-15IKB Type (80T3)" and "ITE_EC_IT8886HE vs 23", was working, have image after 50 seconds, but WITHOUT touchpad working
And i remember that here on badcaps an guy said that after he did CleanME his touchpad working again.
So... i don't know how to do, but after i watch closely an yt video, i managed to make my own CleanME bin(and i see why "peste" always put outimage.bin file here)
And, in archive i put also my CleanME file named "bios vs 46 Clean ME" where touchpad also working, but still have image after 50 seconds.
But, i let it like that, is good enough...
Thanks.Attached FilesComment

by jbonavitaHi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried
1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...-

by zeniusHello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...-

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem
Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
Initial Findings:- My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
- I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
- I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
- I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
- I concluded that the

by BloodhoundjeHi everyone,
I have been doing hardware repair as a hobby for some years now and recently decided to learn about repairing laptops as a fun challenge.
I managed to get my hands on a "HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2523nd" notebook that only shows a white power LED and doesnt respond to anything.
After initial testing I concluded the bios seems to be corrupted since all voltages are normal and there are no shorts. HP has a feature for a bios restore from USB with winkey+B for this model. This did not work.
I have desoldered the bios chip (GigaDevice...-
