So for beginners, I made this new version which is easier to use.

    Only for Windows.
    Just install LENOVO DXE Auto-Patcher.exe
    And Click on desktop shortcut.
    Need Python 2.7.X
Ps:"there is no interface for the moment, I have to finish the multi bios Patcher for that"

    For Windows 7 and 10 , 32b or 64b

-------- Auto patcher with file selection V2 Version Mxp -------

    Special thanks to Knucklegrumble

    -Version Mxp:

    - Possibility to select your file directly
    - Auto-install with shortcut on desktop
    - Possibility of making several files in succession
    - With additionnal splashscreen

    Tested with version python 2.7
Tested ok on W10 and Win 7(VM)

    Enjoy ,Test and Report please
This tool don't work properly on Win7.
Script doing step 1/2 and end. I can see in orginal dump file folder created "patched" file, but it's deleted when script trying doing step 2/2.

Version started in cmd way, work properly and create "patched" file.

i got a T495 that fails patching the fvNVRAm with hash mismatch.
i manually added the fvnvram.vol to it in hexedit and patched.. havent tested it yet.

no video with hash mismatch file.
with original file it boots to pwd screen but not the bypass.
seems the nvram is slightly different at offset 80000

          Maybe someone can help me.
          I have a Lenovo T550 with a Macronix MX25L12873L BIOS chip.
I created a BIOS dump using autopatcher.
          Reading, writing, no problem.
When I start the notebook I hear 5x beeps 5x beeps and only see "to interrupt normal startup press enter" that was it. Enter does not work.
Maybe someone can edit the original dump to make it work.
The same Lenovo T550 with Winbond chip is no problem.
          Here is the original dump.
          Many Thanks

Yes, the solution is to use a EC/KBC programmer.

                          Hi All!
First of all, thanks for a great forum, I get loads of inspiration, an learn so much (and spend way to much time in here :-))
I have been playing around with this tool: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=87588
one thing I cant figure our is why it is that the output file being automatic deleted after the successfully run - I can see it being created in the right folder, but when done it disappears - anyone who has views on what I should do?
                          thanks!

Updated, i have managed to remove the password thanks to Esmat. If i had more time most likely I would of cracked it due to client not being patient.

Clearly his listing states P52 supported made excuses such as it has to be 2018 mine is .

Hi, i have an ASUS PRIME Z590M-PLUS board, which had an shorted Z590 chipset. I have succesfully exchanged the chipset to a factory new one, however there is a serious problem with the Intel Management Engine (later on: ME) not beeing activated after the chipset device replacement.

For lower chipset families (on ASUS boards) it worked to program the oldest bios version into the SPI rom, and the bios had activated the Management Engine itself by default - there was a message on the screen prior booting - "BIOS is updating Management Engine ..... . Its a bit of a long tale but i swapped the original hd for a 2tb ssd,i want about 6 bootable partitions,it needs the uefi enabling in the bios,I am ok with that, the issue is i cant convert the drive to gpt when it has data on it,the issue is windows wont install to a gpt drive, there is a utility from hp to install the efi partition on the drive but it runs on windows, its a chicken and egg thing, can anyone explaine how hp did this?,I am pulling my hair out;it seems i need to run the hp uefi tool to make the uefi option work in the bios, but it needs windows to run this that wont install on a gpt...

Is unlocking UEFI worth the hassle? (Surface Pro 4)

                                            Hey guys,

Bought myself Surface Pro 4 tablet today on a local craigslist-type website.
I've seen that UEFI was password protected and of course the seller forgot the password, but decided to buy it anyway.
Really needed such a tablet to use with RomRaider to do some logging/tuning on my car.
It has secure boot turned off and boots from USB, so I've formatted SSD and have done clean win10 install.

Works fine, but wanted to ask, are there any real security risks associated with UEFI settings on Surface (remote access etc.)?

                                            From what I've...

Intel NUC NUC6i3SYH UEFI Update went wrong
                                            by S70rm7r00p3r
                                            Hi guys.

I am very new to this business and i have some questions. Maybe someone can help me further.

I have a 2015 Intel NUC NUC6i3SYH and for some internet and office the computer works perfectly. Lately it has been bugging me a bit on and off. Then I saw there is a UEFI update from Intel and I thought if I put it on, the problems might be gone, but unfortunately the update didn't go through. The screen stayed black and after waiting for a while nothing happened, I had to pull the plug at some point. Of course, the NUC then failed to boot!

                                            ...

Hi, I would appreciate your help with the following problem.

I have a Fujitsu laptop AH562 witn a BIOS-UEFI problem since I converted the HDD to a SSD. For more details on the paltop go to the following link:

                                            http://support.fujitsupc.com/CS/Port...srch=TECHSPECS

After copying the HDD to SSD with ALtiris utility provided with the Kingston SSD and replacing the HDD with the SSD the laptop went into a startup loop with no screen display and only the disk LED flashing twice per second. I waited for approximatly 2h and then stopped the laptop...
