Hi!
I have received an HP Elitebook 840 G1 to remove the Admin Password from. The Laptop worked fine, just had a BIOS Admin Password set. I have made multiple dumps to verify the hashes, when accidentally I clicked the "Unprotect" Button in ASProgrammer and after that the Laptop doesn't boot anymore (Backlight is on, Power LED is on, Capslock LED is blinking..)

Update on the topic: Used a BIOS dump from andrew25​ from this post. The Serial Number and the PN in the BIOS is matching the ones I posted. Is there anything that needs to be corrected too (any other IDs for example) or am I good?Comment

The laptop serial number, SNID or service tag must be posted with every bios request. Read the sticky threads at the top of the bios requests forum, Rules and Bios Guides.
In the bios guides thread there is a password section, read that and you`ll find a HP section with links to unlocking software, HPUnlocker and RCUnlocker, you can unlock using those tools.Comment
